With no sign of Booth in the 6 weeks since the poker community has taken to discussing Booth’s colorful and rather an infamous poker career.

Booth’s past includes a history of debts that some feel may be linked to his disappearance in one way or another.

Known to many as Yukon Brad, the 43-year old Canadian made his name playing across Canada before relocating to Vegas.

There the Vancouver-born pro would soon find himself playing the biggest names in the game, featuring on High Stakes Poker and landing a Full Tilt sponsorship.

The Ultimate Bet ( one of the most popular US poker sites back in the days) scandal, however, reportedly cost Booth $2 million, after which a $4.2 million downswing saw Booth hit rock bottom.

“If you look at the approximately $4.2 million I lost…98 percent of that total came online,” Booth explained in an interview.

There was worse to come, though, as it was revealed he owed more than $1 million in debts to fellow players, Doug Polk among them, leading to a tearful confession video…

There is still hope

The fear now that Booth has been missing for so long is either that he has disappeared to avoid debts or to escape from some other unpleasant scenario.

The rumor mill refuses to ignore the most unpleasant of possible outcomes, likely coupled to stories about the alleged involvement of Reno’s Homicide department.

The most positive scenario is that Booth has simply decided to opt-out for a while to deal with less serious issues, and the poker community is being asked to keep an eye out for him…

Anyone with information as to Brad Booth’s whereabouts has been asked to contact Reno police on the numbers below..

A similar case back in 2016 saw poker pro Matt Marafioti resurface after 45 days without contact, claiming: ‘I am doing nothing but enjoying my summer, but haven’t been on social media for a while because I was camping.’

Marafioti’s mental health had apparently been a cause for concern among some of those in the poker community.

Matt later expressed disdain for these people, stating: ‘I chose to remove myself from the situation in order to grant myself the peace and happiness I deserve.’
