A new chapter in the Postlegate
Lon McEachern, known as the Voice of Poker, has become embroiled in the Postlegate scandal – the WSOP commentator called out on Twitter for supporting the Stones Gambling Hall where the alleged cheating took place.
The argument strangely began after McEachern posted about US President Trump’s response to the coronavirus, poker player Abraham ‘pocketabes’ Martin quickly calling him out for hypocrisy…
Sorry Lon, the buck stops with @StonesGambling. They must take the hit. The shutting down of the stream was not enough. @StonesGambling did not understand what could happen. Others did and @StonesGambling chose not to accept the data. STOP DEFENDING @StonesGambling https://t.co/WMM87zFbZT

Veronica Brill, the whistleblower at the heart of the Mike Postle alleged cheating incidents, soon backed up Martin’s censure of the ESPN regular…
Ab is right. Lon sent me a nasty message and refused to be my friend after I went public and is adamantly defending stones. For reference Abraham used to work tech at Stones live https://t.co/SeJOWmQPvF

Martin, pictured below, clarified why singling out McEachern was necessary, describing him as ‘a paid “ambassador” for the room that claims it has no obligation to run fair games. @lonmceachernis ok with players getting cheated as long as he still gets his blood money.’
He also added, “At Thunder Valley, I witnessed you defending Stones to players at the table telling them not to blame Stones and encouraging them to still play there.”
McEachern had the majority of Twitter fans incensed with his take that the casino isn’t responsible for cheating, much like the recent claims in the court case by lawyers for the accused that Stones had ‘no duty of care’ to its customers.
Terrible take. Please let Norman Chad do all the Twitter commentary in the future.

Ongoing $30million civil lawsuit
Ryan Laplante was another offended by McEachern’s apparent defense of the casino that is also subject to an ongoing $30million civil lawsuit, Mike Postle, Justin Kuraitis and Stones Gambling Hall all named.
There 100% was cheating.
You are denying it happened, then stating if it did happen either:
Casino isn't liable.
Or
It was partially the victims fault for not escalating it.
This is both gaslighting and defence of cheating.

The hits on McEachern didn’t stop coming, even as he tried to dampen the Twitter flames…
I don’t envy your position. You’ve accepted money to promote a company that has bent over backwards to deny the obvious — Postle cheated and they did nothing to stop it.

Everyone is a genius with the benefit of hindsight Lon. This is a ridiculous statement to say Veronica "could have saved us all time by making the right decision back then…"
She was overall the biggest hero in this entire situation. You Lon, have a very shitty perspective!

McEachern and Brill continued to be at loggerheads, whatever friendship they once had seemingly ruined by the Postlegate scandal.
One Brill tweet read: “…you cut off our friendship, canceled lunch citing your lawyer not approving and canceled our friendship. Everyone in sac knows you’re going around saying “don’t blame stones”.
McEachern, in turn, described the current Twitter threads a “shitshow” and stated: “…as for “being friends” I think I mutually agreed to cancel the lunch we had scheduled due to legal recommendations.”
