The $5,200 Big Game at partypoker is quickly becoming a staple in the online poker world. And this week, its status has been further cemented as a true online poker legend, Daniel “Jungleman” Cates was the one to take it down – he got $105,450 for his victory.
Last week, we saw another poker celebrity, billionaire recreational player Bill Perkins win this event. It is safe to say that if party’s Sunday poker tournament attracts this kind of talent, they’re doing something right.
Jungleman has been “lurking around” partypoker for a while now. Last month, for example, he finished second in the $2,100 Gladiator high roller.
Johannes “Greenstone25” Korsar Wins $2,100 High Roller Gladiator for $59,302

This was a weekend when online poker stars could really shine on partypoker.
After Jungleman’s win, another seasoned online poker pro, the Swedish Johannes “Greenstone25” Korsar topped the field in partypoker’s famous bounty tourney.
Korsar has cashed over $13.7 million in online MTT’s during his career. Now, another $59,302 were added to that already impressive sum.
“ZamazkaTV” Wins $500 High Rollers Main Event for $19,611 at Natural8

This was the second week in a row that Natural8’s famous 25K Blade high stakes tourneys weren’t held at all. We’re not sure what the reason for this series of no-shows by the high rollers is. Hopefully, with the addition of Daniel Negreanu to the GGPoker ambassadors they’ll return with a few new people as well.
With no 25K’s, the biggest Sunday poker tournament on Nat8 was the $500 High Rollers Main Event with a $100,000 guarantee. That guarantee was eventually surpassed thanks to the 212 players entering.
A player from Russia playing under the screen name “ZamazkaTV” emerged as the eventual victor last night. He earned $19,611 for that victory. Congratulations to him!
Eduardo “sl0tt” de sa Leitao Wins Sunday MILLION for $105,907 at PokerStars

Whoever buys in for the $109 Sunday MIILION, PokerStars’ biggest Sunday poker tournament, has to be ready for a marathon session if they’re looking to go all the way and win it.
Week after week, over 10,000 players register. The gigantic field also means an opportunity for a great investment.
This week, for example, the Brazilian Eduardo do Cavalcante de Sa Leitao, aka “sl0tt”, turned his $109 buy-in to over $105,000. He had to battle for over 14 hours for that score, but the over $100,000% ROI probably made it worth for him.
Felipe “fcbbadotti” Badotti Wins $88 Sunday PKO 8-Max for $4,563 at 888Poker

Although the PKO series ended last week, you can still find a vast number of progressive KO tourneys to play on 888.
The $88 PKO 8-max NLHE was held yesterday, for example. The Brazilian Felipe Badotti, playing under the screen name “fcbadotti” took it down – he collected $1,905 as first prize money and an additional $2,659 in bounties.
Luis André “THEfaryboy” Faria Wins $200,000 GTD Sunday Poker Tournament for $45,900 at Americas Cardroom
[go_pricing id=”acr_200kgt_1124″]
Each week, the biggest Sunday poker tournament on ACR is the $1,050 buy-in, $200,000 GTD one.
This time it drew a total of 204 entries which meant the guarantee was passed once again. When the last player registered, there was $204,000 in the middle to play for.
The Portuguese Luis André Faria, playing under his alias “THEfaryboy” got the biggest chunk of that “change”. He triumphed in the vent after over 12 hours of tournament play and a long heads-up battle with the player with the screen name “phomylife”. The winner bagged no less than $45,900.
