Roberto Romanello Wins $5,200 Sunday High Roller Big Game for $128,625 at partypoker
[go_pricing id=”party_hr_sundaybiggame_1110″]
Each Sunday, the $5,200 Sunday High Roller Big Game is the main event on partypoker. That is the tourney all the high rollers on the site are sure to buy in for.
It was no different this time around either. Famous party ambassadors, such as Jeff Gross, Sam Trickett or Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov were in the mix. So were other familiar names who frequent the high rollers on partypoker but haven’t revealed their identities yet.
Screen names such as “YouGotTheDud’, “Player123560423” or “SunTzu” often show up in the ITM positions in the big party tourneys yet we don’t know who they actually are.
That is not the case for yesterday’s winner, however. Roberto Romanello, Welsh poker pro and partypoker ambassador, was the one who took down the big prize, over $120k.
“CharlesBarkley” Wins $2,100 High Roller Gladiator Bounty Tournament for $57,838 at partypoker

The famous bounty tournament series, the Gladiator was also back on partypoker last night.
It drew a total of 133 entries which meant the $200K guarantee was surpassed – nothing surprising there. The prize pool eventually ballooned up to $272,650.
A player paying homage to an NBA legend with the screen name “CharlesBarkley” emerged the triumphant victor in this event. He collected $25,477 for the first prize and even more, $32,361, in bounties.
“ImLividBuddy” Wins Two $25K Blades for $706,660 Combined at Natural8
[go_pricing id=”natural8_25kblade_1110″]
By Natural8’s standards, it was quite a slow Sunday. “Only” five invitational 25K high rollers were played yesterday.
Remarkably, two of those were won by the same player – twice. “ImLividBuddy” won the ones with the two biggest prize pools, for $376,247 and $330,413, respectively.
The player playing under the screen name “RockyMarciano” also scored a double. However, he had to be contented with a mere $494K , as he finished first in events which had smaller fields.
American poker super star and GG Network ambassador Bryn Kenney, playing from his Canadian address, was also back in the high roller tournament action at Natural8 – however, he only delivered one cash this weekend.
Vinicius “viniperri” Perri Wins Sunday MILLION for $111,770 at PokerStars
[go_pricing id=”pokerstars_sundaymillion_1110″]
It was one marathon session. This week’s Sunday MILLION ended after over 15 hours of play.
The Brazilian poker pro Vinicius Perri worked for his money undoubtedly, he managed to top a 10,890-player field. This title is a nice addition to his already impressive online MTT resume which now boasts over $600,000 in lifetime earnings.
The runner-up finisher was the Bulgarian noob3r who lost after a long and rhapsodic heads-up match. Both players were in the lead for substantial amounts of time.
Preben ‘prebzzz’ Stokkan Wins Rake or Break Whale for $9,200 at 888Poker
[go_pricing id=”888_rakeorbreak_1110″]
Longtime Norwegian poker pro Preben Stokkan had a good weekend on 888. He topped the field in the $530 Rake or Break event and pocketed $9,200. Not too shabby!
Stokkan has over $2 million in live tournament earnings. You might know him for the deep run he made in the most recent WSOP Main Event (he got 21st place for $324,650) or for winning the partypoker Caribbean Poker Party High Roller in 2017.
“one_hundred_eyes” Wins $200,000 GTD Tournament for $47,250 at Americas Cardroom
[go_pricing id=”acr_200kgtd_1110″]
ACR’s signature Sunday tourney is the $1,050 buy-in, $200K GTD event.
This week it drew a 210-player field. Since $1,000 goes to the prize pool from the buy-in, it’s easy to calculate the guarantee was surpassed in this tournament as well.
A player with the screen name “one_hundred_eyes” benefited the most from that. He was the one to emerge victorious after a long heads-up battle with “forkliftr”. The winner was rewarded with no less than $47,250.
