Cheating has dominated the poker headlines this month, and another possible case emerged this week at the Commerce Casino in LA. with two players suspected of marking cards.

Playing $5-$10 at commerce and two Cuban guys at my table were escorted out and floor picked up their chips. Didn’t think it was for cheating cuz they were both whaling around and losing, but apparently they were marking cards. Did they learn nothing from #postle ?

The ’Postle’ hashtag in Kristy Arnett’s tweet, of course, relates to the Mike Postle allegations, covered extensively by VIP over the past few weeks.
The Commerce incident doesn’t seem to have been as well thought out or as lucrative as the rumored $250,000 that Postle may have won. It was, however, seemingly much more easily spotted by the regs at the world’s biggest cardroom.

According to one Twitter user, Matt K, a floorman at the Commerce confirmed the pair had been busted, posting: ‘Just asked the floor at Commerce, this is confirmed. People say they were huge fish though. Floorman said that a player reported them, and then they got caught pretty quickly’.
Well-known pro Ryan Feldman, producer of the Live at the Bike televised cash games, wasn’t quite so sure of the duo’s guilt.

Feldman added in a second tweet: ‘They def played tight, tight, tight & then random spew where they got a bluff thru or got lucky. They won a lot but not always. There were some red flags but I don’t think card marking was it. Could be something else, could be nothing. One of them stacked off vs. me in PLO in a bad spot.’
