Ken Strauss, who achieved infamy at this year’s WSOP by exposing himself and was later arrested on terrorism offenses, has been found incompetent to stand trial by a Nevada judge.
This is not a surprise.

The 45-year old has been sent to a psychiatric hospital ‘for an undetermined period’ according to the Las Vegas Review Journal. The poker player – nicknamed the Naked Bandit after his WSOP antics – refused to attend his court hearing last week.
At the hearing, Chief District Judge Linda Bell reviewed findings from a pair of psychologists, following Strauss’ earlier indictment by a grand jury on terrorism charges.
Strauss’ horrendous summer began when he entered the WSOP $10k buy-in Main Event at the Rio in Las Vegas.
During what would turn out to be his final hand of the tournament on July 5th, Strauss shoved all-in blind, dropped his pants and exposed his genitals, then threw one of his shoes at the dealer.
Uhhhhhh what is going on at the #WSOP main event??? Player shoves blind, drops his pants, then throws his shoe on the table 😂 😂 😂(video via @blattsmullet) pic.twitter.com/oHGk5pjlnJ

Following the bizarre incident at the Rio, Strauss then entered the Luxor. He conducted himself in a similar manner, eventually being escorted out by security.
The #nakedbandit strikes again. First the Rio, and now a show for everyone at the Luxor. 🙊🤷♂️🤦♂️😮🤔@Joeingram1 @WSOP pic.twitter.com/yxxoopzTsJ

Worse was to come for the clearly unwell Strauss, a series of Twitter posts worrying poker fans and Vegas residents so much that they contacted the police.
After what happened in 2017, we don't take too kindly to anybody threatening to cause harm on our city. Be aware that this has been reported as a serious matter to various authorities.
STOP USING TWITTER AND GET SERIOUS HELP.
In the meantime, do NOT threaten this city.

A police investigation, reported by FOX News, revealed that Strauss had visited four separate Vegas hotels and casinos.
He had been evicted from the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa for allegedly attempting to lure an 8-year old boy to his hotel room, Strauss claiming he recognized the boy from Pittsburgh.
He was then escorted from the Aria Resort and Casino by security staff. Two days later he became the subject of a suicidal person report at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
By the time the police arrived at the Venetian, Strass had already left by taxi for the Trump International Hotel, where he was finally arrested.
Strauss was charged with “one count of making threats or conveying false information concerning acts of terrorism” related to his tweets threatening Las Vegas casinos.
According to the police report, Strauss mumbled “kill them all,” when being arrested. The city has been on edge from terror threats ever since the Mandalay Bay shooting in October 2017.
Describing his actions as ‘extraordinarily concerning’, at the end of AugustClark County Chief District Court Judge Linda Bell ordered Strauss be held on a $150,000 bond, followed by this week’s call for psychiatric evaluation.
