The usual high stakes, high value MTT action was back on partypoker last Sunday with some serious bounty tournaments.
And with these tournaments, partypoker’s usual stars returned to the virtual felt.
Roberto “R_Romanello” Romanello, Kristen “Krissyb24” Bicknell, and João “XjoaosimaoX” Simão were all among the 100 players who bought in for the $2,100 Sunday Gladiator High Roller.
The 100-person field meant that they more than doubled the original guarantee of $100,000 and pooled together a prize pool of $205,000 for the tournament.
A player by the username “DontDo_IT” did it, he took down the event. He earned $18,827 for finishing first, and got an additional $32,813 for knocking his opponents out along the way.

Earlier that day, the $1,050 Terminator also kicked off on partypoker.
This one was won by a person playing under the screen name “Player123560423”. With the prize money and the bounties combined, he won no less than $34,735 on a Sunday evening.
Markus “PrinzOfDTO” Prinz finished second who lamented the fact he lost the 2 and a half hour heads up battle.

He had to be contented with the $24,026 he got for his runner-up finish.
Michael Soyza Wins $25K Blade Turbo for $486,858 at Natural8

By now poker fans probably got used to the fact the biggest weekend tournaments are held on Natural8. On any given Sunday, millions and millions are awarded to online poker’s real high rollers.
This week, the Malaysian Michael Soyza scored the biggest by winning the $25K Blade Turbo tournament. Soyza often plays high profile tournaments around the world, be it the WSOP in Las Vegas, a Triton high roller in Jeju, or a PCA event in the Bahamas. He has over $7.1 million in live tournament earnings to his name.
However, this time he proved himself on the virtual felt as well. He finished on top of the 52-player field and he was rewarded with almost half a million dollars out of the staggering, $1,274,000 prize pool.

The $10K Blade on Natural8 originally had a $100,000 guarantee – needless to say, it was surpassed. There was $368,600 in the middle to play for yesterday.
One of online poker’s biggest enigmas, Chen Lei Zhu emerged as the eventual winner. He formerly played under the screen name “SamRostan”, this time he chose to display his real name. The Macau man tallied up a $113,628 payday.
However, it wasn’t him who pocketed the most in this tourney. Thanks to a heads-up deal, second place finisher and regular in Natural8’s high rollers, “pihler13” got more than the winner – he took home $136,516.
Meanwhile Michael Soyza got himself another cash, this time finishing 5th for $23,169 in this poker tournament.
