Elio Fox wins Event #2: WSOP $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty
Elio Fox had a fantastic start into this year’s World Series of Poker after winning Event #2: $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty for $393,693 and finishing Runner-Up in the $100,000 Super High Roller for $1,798658, which makes him the clear leader in the Player of the Year Leaderboard.
It was his second bracelet after winning the WSOP Europe Main Event 2011 for €1,400,000.

Joe Cada wins his third bracelet on the $3,000 No-Limit Hold’Em SHOOTOUT
Former WSOP Main Event Joe Cada already won his third bracelet in the After 196 hands on the final table, Joe Cada won the 2018 WSOP $3,000 No-Limit Hold’Em SHOOTOUT for $226,218.
He prevailed on a very strong final table including former World Champion Joe McKeehen, Sam Phillips and Ihar Soika.

Nick Petrangelo ships Event #5: $100,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller
The $100,000 No-Limit Super High Roller was the first big highlight of the 2018 WSOP. The high buy-in of $100,000 attracted 105 of the best tournament players in the world and generated a staggering prize pool of $10,185,000.
It was one of the strongest WSOP Final Tables in recent history with Bryn Kenney, Stephen Chidwick, Jason Koon and Adrian Mateos. Nick “caecilius! Petrangelo came out on top after defeating fellow American Elio Fox Heads-up for $2,910,227.

Johannes Becker wins first Bracelet for Germany in the $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball
The Germans are a force to be reckon with in tournament poker and that was demonstrated once again by Johannes Becker’s victory in Event #8: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball although he made a late registration.
Becker defeated poker legend Soctt Seiver Heads-Up and won his first bracelet together with $180,455 in prize money.
