Pack your bags and book the flights! The 2018 World Series of Poker Schedule has been released!
It features 78 bracelet events, that will all take place at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, from May 29 to July 17, 2018.
Highlight events
All the most popular events from the recent years are returning to the schedule. Those include:
- The COLOSSUS IV (June 2)
- Millionaire Maker (June 9)
- $50,000 Poker Players Championship (June 15)
- MONSTER STACK (June 23)
- Crazy Eights (June 30)
- Main Event (July 2)
- $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop (July 15)
The COLOSSUS IV
The Colossus is returning in its fourth installment. This $565 tourney will offer 6 flights between June 2 and June 4. With 2 flights per day (10am & 5pm), everyone will have loads of opportunity to play.
If you are eliminated before the open registration period has ended, you may re-enter that same flight, or any of the remaining available flights. It is paying out 15% of field, which means players will reach the money on Day 1!
Millionaire Maker
The Millionaire Maker will once again cost you $1,500 for a chance to become a Millionaire. It will offer two starting flights, one on June 9 and the other just a day later, on Sunday, June 9.
$50,000 Poker Players Championship
$50,000 Poker Players Championship is a mixed game, $50,000 buy-in event. It will start on Friday, June 15.
The games that will be played include Limit Hold’em, Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, Seven Card Stud, Razz, Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better, No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha and Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw
MONSTER STACK
The $1,500 MONSTER STACK will feature two starting flights, June 23 and June 24 at 10 a.m.. Last year it attracted 6,717 players to combine for a prize pool worth $9,066,600. 1,008 players got paid and the winner took home $1,094,349.
Crazy Eights
$888 buy-in, 8 players at the table and $888,888 Guaranteed 1st Place prize, this is Crazy Eights.
The Crazy Eights event will offer 4 starting flights, two on Saturday June 30 and two a day later, on Sunday 1.
Main Event
The most anticipated poker event of the year, the $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event will start its first of three starting days on Monday, July 2.
Once again there will be no November Nine as the final table is set to begin on Thursday, July 12 and the crowning of the champion is set to take place on Saturday, July 14.
Last year’s champion, Scott Blumstein, blasted through a field of 7221 players and added $8,150,000 to his name.
$1,000,000 Big One for One Drop
There will be no time to rest after the Main Event. Just after the Main Event, the $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop will return to Rio after 4 years of absence.
This $1,000,000 buy-in event will be capped at 48 players, and WSOP will waive the $111,111 fee in favor of the One Drop Foundation.
