Nik Airball to Make Long-Awaited Return to Hustler Casino Live

After a low-key ban of one year, Nik Airball will once again be gracing the stage of the Hustler Casino Live set tomorrow night.

In October of last year, Airball did make a return to the show, but that was at the Onyx Club Merit Cyprus. Tomorrow night, though, it will be for real in Los Angeles.

All the Makings of a Classic Show

So what do we have in store for tomorrow night? Nik Airball is always a spicy ingredient, but imagine him paired up with Alan Keating. Fellow livestream reg, yet HCL debutant, Humboldt Mike will also be present, promising fireworks right from the off.

For those who haven’t followed this story over the last 12 months, Nik Airball was placed in the sin bin for loaning chips against company policy. Five months ago we reported Airball’s statement:

“They told us if you loan chips you have to report who you loan to, which we did, we always reported it.

“But then they got upset because we did such a high amount. Nick and Ryan went to bat for us, we got unbanned, they said if you ever loan in the casino again you’re banned for life. It makes running the big games a little more challenging.”

Ryan Feldman sounds more excited than anyone to be getting his prized asset back in front of the cameras. The show has undergone quite a makeover since Airball last played. Nick Vertucci has been consigned to history and GGPoker’s parent company has taken over his ownership share.

Feldman knows that the show is in a great place for now, and with Airball’s controversial style the sky’s the limit.

Airball knows that he’ll have his hands full when the action kicks off. He respects Alan Keating immensely, to the point that he is even willing to back off from his role as table captain to avoid getting suckered into a trap.

Humboldt Mike is another of livestream poker’s hyper-aggressive players. A good friend of Nik Airball who has cut his teeth on shows such as High Stakes Poker and No Gamble, No Future. Players like this who know each other very well generally produce some spectacular evenings on the felt.

So what of the future? Airball has said that he would love to see Daniel Negreanu appear on Hustler Casino Live. With the newly created connection to GGPoker, this is now a lot more likely than it was before.

Airball has also recently jumped into a business relationship with none other than Doug Polk. He and Ethan “Rampage” Yau both bought into The Lodge Card Club.

Polk and Airball at the same table is guaranteed to produce plenty of memorable moments.

But as of now, it’s all conjecture. Let’s see how Nik Airball performs when the cameras start rolling, and maybe we’ll see a different version of the man we knew 12 months ago now that he has settled into a new life as a father.
