This year’s full WSOP schedule has been announced and the action kicks off with a $1million top bounty in the Mystery Millions with 100 bracelets in total up for grabs.
The 56th edition of the world’s richest and most prestigious poker series returns for a fourth year to the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas on the iconic Las Vegas Strip. The festival runs from May 27th through July 16th.
“We had hoped to continue to break records last year, and we did – the WSOP Main Event was bigger than ever,” said Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP.
“In 2025, the WSOP schedule is better again, with something for everyone who loves the game.”
“There’s nothing like summer in Las Vegas and we’re ready to welcome players to the biggest and best WSOP of all time!” added Stewart in this week’s press release.
The Main Event
For many, the highlight of the summer festival is the WSOP Main Event. This year’s “World Championship” starts on July 2nd and reaches a final table on Sunday July 13th.
A day off to recover and prepare will see the final nine return for a stab at glory on Tuesday July 15th with the winner crowned on Wednesday July 16th.
Last year’s victor, Jonathan Tamayo, won $10,000,000 and the biggest crown (well, gold bracelet!) in poker and will be looking to become the first player to go back-to-back since Johnny Chan’s epic 1987/1988 double.

Of course, there is much more to the WSOP than just one event, no matter how large or prestigious. A few highlights from the rest of the 100-bracelet schedule can be seen below:

GGPoker take over the reins
This year sees the first GGPoker-run WSOP since the online giants’ parent company NSUS bought the rights last year in a $500million deal. PokerGO will once again exclusively broadcast coverage of the World Series of Poker, with a full schedule to be released later.
How to Qualify
GGPoker will once again be running online and live satellites for the Main Event. Last year saw more than 1000 GGPoker qualifiers among the 10,000+ entries.
Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker Global Ambassador and seven-time WSOP bracelet winner explained this week:
“GGPoker’s Road To Vegas allows poker enthusiasts all over the world to make their way to Las Vegas and follow in the footsteps of their poker heroes by taking aim at WSOP gold. Join us in 2025!”
In addition, domestic US players can win their way into poker’s biggest tournament via WSOP Online with satellites to the Main Event. Side events, including daily live satellites and deep stack tournaments, will appear on the full schedule of events at WSOP.com/2025.
Online pre-registration will open after all events have been determined and approved by regulators.
Players should follow @WSOP on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram or check WSOP.com for the full schedule, event news and updates.
