Cash Game World Championship Overview
The Cash Game World Championship kicks off on December 1 and will run throughout the holiday season.
We will see 24/7 high-stakes cash game action featuring NL hold’em games with blinds of $50/$100 and $100/$200.
Players will agree to sit with a minimum buy-in of 100 big blinds and an auto-reload feature, ensuring that the action never stops and is never ruined by short-stack push/fold play.
One of the most exciting aspects of this championship is the zero rake and no ante structure, encouraging players to take a shot at higher stakes without the usual rakedrain associated with cash games.
Additionally, all games will be played on show hole cards tables, meaning that players cannot muck their hole cards at showdown. This rule will improve the show for spectators and hopefully give them some insight into the strategies and decisions made by top professionals.
There will be a leaderboard that is updated after every session so we can keep track of who is leading the way.
$50,000 Rolex Daytona
At the end of the championship, only one player will be able to call themselves the official Cash Game World Champion and they will be awarded a luxurious Rolex Daytona watch worth $50,000, which can be custom engraved with their name.
