Roland Israelashvili, the man with the most WSOP cashes in history, has finally secured his first World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet.
Playing under the screen-name “prngls12”, he triumphed in Event #20: $400 PLOSSUS PKO 6-Max of the domestic WSOP Online series.
The Georgian born American topped a field of 444 entries to claim the winner’s prize of $23,519.85.
Israelashvili has long been recognised as one of the best players without a WSOP bracelet. With this popular win, he finally ends his long pursuit that has characterised much of his recent poker career.
Notably, this was his 515th cash at the WSOP, solidifying his status as the all-time leader in combined cashes across both bracelet and ring events — an impressive feat that places him ahead of notable players such as Arkadiy Tsinis and Ari Engel.
In addition to his WSOP accomplishments, Israelashvili has also claimed 11 Circuit rings, tying him for ninth place on the all-time list alongside John Holley.
Over the past two decades, he has amassed 721 reported tournament cashes according to the Hendon Mob database. Incredibly, despite these accolades, the elusive WSOP bracelet had remained out of reach until now.
Following his victory, Engel was among the first to celebrate Israelashvili’s long-awaited success, with many friends and fellow players expressing their congratulations to the man who has made the United States his home for over fifty years.
