You might think that after a gruelling and enormously successful Main Event, a player might give themself some time off from the daily grind, right? A long holiday in the sun, perhaps, or at least a couple of weeks off to recover, right?
Not so Swedish phenom Niklas “Lena900” Astedt, who was back at the online tables almost as soon as the ink had tried on his $4million, 3rd spot finish in Vegas.

It was mentioned almost everywhere that runner-up Jordan Griff was planning a swift return to the normality of his day job as a data and analytics supply chain manager.

Astedt, however, is a poker pro through and through, one of the ‘winningest’ ever online with $48,866,883 to his name.
The 33-year-old from Gothenburg in Sweden has known nothing but poker as a job and for him, back to work is back to the grind, and there are none better.
While others were dissecting the contentious laptop on the rail story, Astedt was doing what he does best – winning money, and lots of it.
Although he didn’t feature at the money end of last night’s GGPoker Super High Roller, won by Ilya Anatski, he did scoop another big payday, this time on PokerStars.
The $5,200 Titan’s Event only pulled in 46 entries (compared to GG’s 146 entries for the $10k SHR) but that was still enough to give Astedt – who fired two bullets – a $55,358 payday for his runner-up finish to Austria’s Leonard “Grozzorg” Maue.
Final table ITM results
1 Leonard ‘Grozzorg’ Maue $80,853
2 Niklas “Lena900” Astedt $55,358
3 Alexandros “Pwndidi” Theologis $37,902
4 Juan “Malaka$tyle” Pardo $25,951
5 Michael “imluckbox” Addamo $17,768
6 “lowfoam” $12,165
Incredibly, Astedt’s close to $49million in online winnings don’t include a single 7-figure cash, his best result a $762,253 scoop of a $525 buy-in MTT back in 2021.
A multiple-time world number 1 in the online rankings, with 9 SCOOP titles and almost as many GGPoker Super Million$ wins to his name, Astedt also has $7million+ in live earnings to his name.
Astedt will likely continue to beast the online game and throw in some live crushes too, but we’d like to know what YOU would do if you bagged $4million in the Main Event.
