GGNetwork just launched GGPass, a new Single Sign-On (SSO) service that will make logging in and accessing GG services easier than ever.
This new feature was released this Friday 28th, following a scheduled poker client update that lasted eight hours.
Here’s everything you need to know:
What is GGPass?
GGPass works similarly to “Login with Google” and will allow players to sign up once and use their credentials to access all GG services.
This new service supports social login integration with Google, Facebook, and Apple accounts. However, you can still log in using your existing email account if you prefer not to use Social Login.
With GGPass, users will have a single set of credentials to log into their accounts across all GG services, eliminating the need to remember multiple usernames and passwords.
Manage All Your GGPoker Accounts with GGPass ID
After the June 28th update, players with multiple accounts on different GGPoker sites can now switch between accounts while logged in. Upon your first login, you will be asked to choose a nickname to represent your GGPass.
Accounts with an identical email addresses will be combined into one GGPass account, and the nickname for all these accounts will be unified to the nickname you chose.
Please note that although you will be able to switch between accounts, there will be some restrictions.
For example, players won’t be able to register for the same tournament or Spin & Gold on the same GGPass ID, nor will they be able to buy staking on the same GGPass ID. Additionally, the Honeymoon promotion will only be available once per GGPass ID.
GGPass Replaces Mobile and Email Logins
Players will no longer be able to log in with their mobile number or username. Instead, they will use their GGPass credentials. Since this is a new feature, if you have any issues logging in with your existing poker account, you can find your GGPass ID by clicking on “Find GGPass ID” button on the login box.
On the first log-in after the launch of GGPass, players must choose a nickname to represent themselves. If a player has multiple accounts with the same email address, these accounts will be combined into one GGPass account, and the nickname will be unified.
Also, keep in mind that as your account transitions to GGPass, any previously selected “Remember Password” settings will be reset. You will need to re-enter your password manually.
If you used automatic login with mobile number or username, you must attempt a login to retrieve your GGPass and then follow the on-screen instructions to verify your account.
Citizenship Registration and Changes
With GGPass, players are now able to register or change their citizenship. For players who have completed KYC verification, their citizenship will be automatically registered.
Citizenship can be changed at any time, but the final change must go through the KYC process.
You can make these changes in the poker client under MyPage > My Game Profile.
Easy Transfers Between Accounts
GGPass is being introduced to make it easier for users to log in and manage their accounts across different GG services, improving the overall user experience. One new featured to be introduced is the possibility of transfering funds between same player accounts.
This means if you have multiple accounts across different brands such as GGPoker and GGPoker UK, you will be able to move funds between them.
You can make transfers between account balances in the Cashier dialogue, but they are subject to certain regulations. Some transfers may be restricted based on specific regional rules.
