Latvian grinder “FoldFactory007” has won the $1 million GGPoker Mega Bounty Jackpot in a $25 GGMasters Bounty event.
Incredibly, even this modest level of buy-in was higher than usual for this lucky player.
FoldFactory007 chanced their luck in a $6.25 4-max All-in or Fold Sit&Go and won the ticket to take part in the GGMasters Bounty tournament with a $60,000 guarantee.
But even after securing the seat, never in a million years would any player have expected to be in with a shout at pulling off this incredible feat.
GGPoker Network’s Bounty Jackpot System
When GGPoker Network introduced the Bounty Jackpot system, we had no idea just how popular it would become.
The premise is simple: every time you win a bounty you have a shot at winning the Bounty Jackpot. Each knockout gives you a 1 in 1,000 chance to win a share.
Games included are regularly scheduled progressive Bounty Tournaments, as well as in Battle Royale.
If you’re not sure if your favourite game is included, check the lobby in the GGPoker client and see if Bounty Jackpot is listed in the tournament information.

How FoldFactory007 Won the $1 Million GGPoker Mega Bounty Jackpot
FoldFactory007 was only nine minutes into his run in the GGMasters Bounty $25 tournament when great fortune struck.
Brit “Londoner2023” was the unfortunate victim after getting embroiled in a pre-flop reraising war with the Latvian.
FoldFactory007 opened to 3 big blinds and the Brit came over the top for 8 big blinds. A German-flagged player cold called and when the action came back around to FoldFactory007 he jammed.
Now, this was effectively 280 big blinds deep so he meant business, but Londoner2023 wasn’t to be put off and he made the call followed by the German mucking his hand.
So what did they have? It turned out to be the Latvian’s AKs up against pocket queens—a straightforward coinflip race.
A king came on the flop and the turn even gave FoldFactory007 a flush draw, but a blank river meant it wasn’t needed.
The Latvian won the race and amazingly continued playing his $25 tournament. Although it’s probably fair to assume he was in some kind of a state of shock.
