Online casino player Mandi Minx has finally been paid her winnings for hitting a $250,000 Jackpot on November 2 after Social Media shaming of the operator. She posted a cry for help after three weeks of waiting while she was locked out of her account and ignored by management.
Online Casino Jackpot Winner Finally Paid $250K After Twitter Shaming
Was waiting to post this until I got paid out but I hit this Nov 2nd. My @IgnitionCasino account has been disabled for two weeks. I sent in the required verification. I’ve been freaking out ever since. They won’t give me any explanation and just tell me to be patient. HELP pic.twitter.com/kDkGn5eBD9

Ignition Casino followed what is usual procedure after a big win. The player’s account is checked out to make sure it is in good standing. The cynics will say that this is always done in the hope of finding something amiss so payment can be voided but rules are rules.
The problem in this case was the extreme delay even after Mandi Minx sent in all the requested documents and was then fobbed off and told to wait.
Ignition Casino publically apologizes for the delay
He added that Ignition might have been hit hard if it was storing crypto on the recently collapsed FTX platform.
We deeply apologize for the delay but there are certain investigations that require a thorough due diligence process and unfortunately this was one of them. At this point your account has been re-enabled and you are free to withdraw any and all of your funds as you wish. 1/2

Ignition Pays Mandi Minx Her $250,000 Jackpot Winnings
It appears that the public shaming did the trick because only a couple of days after it started Mandi Minx finally had her account unlocked and was told she could withdraw her winnings.
Ignition tweeted that winnings will always be paid out if the account is in good standing. Todd Witteles replied that it had done the right thing but reminded that communication is key and the whole affair looked suspicious.
He also said that she was only after Ignition was publicly shamed.
To recap, a $250k jackpot winner who promptly delivered all verification docs requested, was forced to wait THREE WEEKS, given no information, and then denied the ability today to talk to middle management about it.
She got paid today only due to social media shaming.
