2020 WSOP to take place online at GG Network!
After the great success of the WSOPC, the World Series of Poker has decided that the 2020 WSOP will also take place at GG Network starting from July 1st and spanning over two months and 85 bracelet events.
With the flagship World Series of Poker postponed in Las Vegas due to the public health emergency involving COVID-19, the WSOP just announced the “World Series of Poker Online,” an online poker festival spanning over two months.

Set to be one of the largest online poker tournament series of all time, “WSOP Online” will take place at GG Network and offers massive prize pools, unprecedented media coverage for online events, and the chance to win gold bracelets.
WSOP Online kicks off July 1st and features 85 bracelet events
Kicking off Wednesday, July 1, the “WSOP Online” tournament’s North American network will schedule one bracelet event a day, throughout the month of July.

As the 2020 WSOP Online will last until September 6th, which are more than 2 months of world-class tournament action, there are a total of 85 gold WSOP bracelets up for grabs.
While the first 18 events are played at WSOP.com in order to be accessible for US players, the GG Network takes over from Sunday, July 19 until September 6th fir the official “WSOP Online” bracelet tournaments.

It is the first time that players outside the U.S. are able to compete for an official WSOP bracelet online.
Poker Central will also schedule virtual “bracelet ceremonies” and interviews with each winner.

GGPoker just wrapped up a highly successful WSOP Online Super Circuit Series, which saw a total series prize pool of $134,706, 274 easily smashing the advertised $100,000,000 in guarantees.
In total, the WSOP series saw a staggering 485,851 entries with highlights including a Main Event of nearly 10,000 entrants with $1.200,000 for the winner and a scorching $25k “high roller” with 505 entries creating GGPoker’s largest prize pool to date of $12.300,000.
Like the record setting WSOP Online Circuit, GGPoker’s online bracelet event schedule will similarly have buy-in levels and formats that cater to a wide range of players.
