The WSOP Main Event kicks off today!
The most important poker tournament in the world starts today and you can watch it live in full-length on PokerGo starting daily at 1 am ET/7 am CET.
Legends will be made at the turn of a card, and millions of dollars will change hands and the lives of the players, who manage to run deep and fight their way through a field of thousands of poker players from all around the world.
The 2018 WSOP Main Event will have three starting days 1 and 2, where a lot of players will hit the rails until the field is finally combined on Day 3.
How big will the 2018 WSOP Main Event get?
Last year’s Main Event was the third biggest in history making it a big success. Scott Blumstein from the USA topped a massive field of 7,221 players, who created an incredible prize pool of $67,877,400!
The top 9 players all became millionaires with Blumstein taking home the biggest cheque worth a staggering $8,150,000.
Now the question is can we top this great result this year? Nobody knows yet, how many players the Main Event will get.
What is certain is that we will see all the top players such as Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Fedor Holz and many others compete for the prestigious title of World Champion.
